It saddened me to learn that Stan was onboard the flight that crashed into the Pentagon. So many of America's best and brightest were lost that day. I worked for Stan at Hughes Aircraft Radar Systems Group (now Raytheon) in the 1980s as a young software engineer. Stan was always willing to share his wealth of knowledge of the electronic warfare field. He was an asset to his company and his country.

I worked with Stan off and on at Hughes Radar Systems, where he was a national expert in electronic warfare systems. With his gruff voice he would always cut to the heart of the issue under discussion. I last saw him at the Raytheon office in Arlington, Virginia. He remembered me and we had a nice chat, even though it had been several years since I left Hughes. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Stan Hall is one to be remembered for his quiet mannerism and his willingness to help wherever he could. His faith was seen in his character and in his devotion to God. He was a dear friend and a true brother-in-law. He left behind a moral and intellectual legacy that cannot be surpassed. He will be missed forever. I thank God for all the memories of our association.
Clyde Whitener, Jr., brother-In-Law
