Tom was definitely one of the most incredible people I've ever met. Knowing him for about 9 years, we became better and closer friends as the years went on. We didn't get to see each other much, since I go to school away from home, but whenever we got back together, he made it as if it were just yesterday that we had seen each other. It's been really tough for me since that day, but I know I'll always remember him, and will continue to be inspired by him.

You were a gentle soul Tom. But I know that your soul lives on. I miss you a lot after these three months, and I hope you didn't suffer for long. You left this crazy world because of hatred. If those bad people had spent some time with you -- even 5 minutes -- they would not have hated you. You died innocently while trying to learn a new craft. I know that you are in a better place.
