"Within the sight of sorrow
Our hearts are worn with grief
For all our brave and mighty
They never know defeat
No grave can hold a spirit
That fought with bravery
In times of greatest honor
Their names a homily
Their legacy continues
In every one that stands
With hands held in saluting
The glory of their land
They gave their life for freedom
In silent tears we weep
Within this saddest mourning
Our soldier's memory keeps
And so in life we know this
They stood so brave and tall
In honor of their country
They gave their life ~ Their all
No greater love is given
No greater hero made
Than one who knows the meaning
Of freedom's love engraved."
