Torres, loving grandson to Elda and the late Oscar Torres and the late Emilio and Petra Ortega, beloved Godson to Helen (the late Pat) Merrill, fond nephew and cousin and friend to many. Omar was a die-hearted Bear fan, a scholar at Ohio State University, Omar enjoyed life and especially his family. Always a smile on his face, wore his heart on his sleeve, and a stranger to no one.
