God bless Sgt. Beale and his family. And shame on the writer for thinking Liberals would never do this. You are so wrong. Please, if you are sincere then don't make Sgt. Beale or anyone lost in battle something you can make political. My Dad was a WW2 hero and this county's first Purple Heart soldier. One brother served 18 months in Viet Nam, one 8 yrs. peacetime. We are all liberals and we all love this country and our Military men and women.

For the Sargent's family, friends, immediate guard unit, the US military in general and for this Republic.
The last full measure of the devotion & dedecation to duty of a fallen warrier leads me to mourn with you and all who must soldier on without this man.
His spirit is raised high among us as we watch the procession carry him to his last resting place.
We may never again see such a tribute.

My condolences to the family of Sgt. Beale. Words cannot express my honour and gratitude to Sgt Beale for giving his life for the freedom that our forefathers fought. He is the now generations of strong men of character, just like President George Washington, Haym Salomon (Jewish immigrant who risked all for American Independence) and others who have carried the torch in the United States and internationally. The soul of Sgt. Beale lives on forever in our hearts. God has blessed him by giving eternal life. I cannot wait to see these brave men in heaven. God thanks again for your son Jesus and this son Army Sgt. John C. Beale

I did not know him, but saw a video of the tribute procession for this fallen hero. My son is a marine with the 2/8 currently the point of the sword in Afghanistan. I feel you pain. as we have lost a few men already. until you hear a name, you don't know who it is and that is an emptiness that cannot be filled. I wanted to take a minute and let you know I am thinking about you. thank you for having this website to allow us to say a few words.

ALL AMERICAN BOY
June Forth Two Thousand Nine,
A Hero dies at the age of thirty nine.
Sgt. 1st Class John C. Beale,
An Army National Guard from head to heel.
He grew up down south this man I speak of,
He fought for his country the one he loved.
He was born to be a soldier that's what his family knew,
He fought for your freedom and for my freedom too.
He was a loving father, he loved his wife,
He fought for his country his price was his life.
Survived by his two children and a beautiful wife,
This Hero gave it his all, he paid the ultimate price.
There are many Hero's in this land,
All working together all hand in hand.
From the Army to the Navy,
to our U.S. Marines,
To our National Guard Infantry they all have one dream.
Freedom for all is what they say,
As they stand on guard every night and day.
These men and women do what they do,
Without any fear they do it for me and you.
Sgt. Beale walked into Heaven with a smile on his face,
As angels of God saluted his work of Grace.
And when he met Jesus I'm sure he heard,
Sgt. Beale your work will forever be remembered by those on earth.
So come now my son and walk with me,
Together we will keep watch over the U.S. Infantry.
So Thank You Sgt. Beale for the work that you did,
For watching over every man, woman and kid.
The Memory you left is truly bliss,
What I mean by that is,
It's Priceless.
