FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. — A soldier from Tennessee who was stationed at Fort Campbell has died in combat in Afghanistan.
The Defense Department said Spc. Jeremy L. Brown, 20, of McMinnville, Tenn., died May 9 after his unit was attacked by insurgents using small-arms fire. The military said May 10 that Brown died at Contingency Outpost Zerok, Afghanistan.
Brown was assigned to 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division....

It still hurts even though its been a little bit of time now and you'd think i had just a bit of time to let it all sink in and register that you are gone. I love you with all my heart and I miss you like a fat kid misses cake, I can't even begin to imagine what a yr from now will look like but I do know that it wont be any easier but I can tell you I will always have you in my heart and you'll always be my superman. I will miss you till the day that god allows me to join you again and be happy just like the good ol days when we were in school and doing silly things together.
