James J Coon

My sincerest condolences to the family of James Coon. Coon and my brother, Spc James Arnold, were friends in Fort Hood and also deployed to Iraq together. I never got to meet him, but my brother always talked about Coon. It was only weeks after losing my brother that I heard about James and I can only pray that God will bring peace to your hearts and comfort in knowing that James is a true hero in my eyes and the eyes of many. May you rest in peace, Coon, and thank you for protecting us all.

Jimmy, I will never understand why you were taken from us at such a young age. You were so full of life and laughter. You always had a joke and a pick me upper. You always told me I was beautiful and "wifey" material. :-) You are a true American Hero!! I will never forget you, your memory still lives on Whitey!! I love you! ~Angel G.
