I first met you in the icu in balad Iraq, I am an Air Force medic that was assigned to the 332nd CASF. I know that we truly never conversed or even knew each other for that matter but one thing I can say is that you are truly a fighter, I saw it with my very own eyes, you were one of thos patients that i never forgot about, you touched my heart more than anyone will ever know. I actually heard your story, about what happened, what kind of man you were in and out of uniform; I ran into one of your very good friends about a month later when we medevaced him out for injuries, it was awkward yet bittersweet to talk to someone who knew you. I wheeled him over to our warrior wall that we have and he was able to dedicate a little piece of the wall to you and the others that passed on that day, I really don't know why i am writing this to you other that the fact that you were one of those soliders I couldn't forget. May god bless you and R.I.P Sgt Green
Signed,
one of the six that made sure you got to Germany
