While I never knew Eric, I know his sacrifice will not be in vain. Those who die while trying to defend others are surely blessed by the Lord for their sacrifice. My condolences to his family, and my prayers for their lost love one. God Bless them all.

Though we may have lost a Hero, through reflection we may not be able to fully understand exactly why God makes the choices he makes but I will celebrate him, and his life, for if it not for SSG Lindstrom, and his selfless dedication to duty our freedom would be at risk.
