Funeral services for Pakistan bomb victim

LOUISA, Ky. — Funeral services have been scheduled for a fallen soldier who grew up in eastern Kentucky.

Young Funeral Home in Louisa says visitation for 35-year-old Sgt. 1st Class Matthew Sluss-Tiller will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 12 at Burnaugh Baptist Church. The funeral is set for 11 a.m. Feb. 13 at the church.

Sluss-Tiller was killed Feb. 3 with two other soldiers in a bomb blast in Pakistan outside a school. The blast also killed three children and a Pakistan paramilitary soldier.

Sluss-Tiller is also survived by his wife and daughter, who live in North Carolina, where Sluss-Tiller was stationed at Fort Bragg....
